  20. My personal apologies for the disgusting kinds of messages that are
  21. being posted on this newsgroup.  Kermit software users should be able to
  22. participate in discussions about Kermit protocol, software, data
  23. communications, and so on, without being subjected to a constant assault
  24. of get-rich-quick schemes, chain letters, and now child pornography and
  25. solicitation.

  27. Remember what happened to CB radio 20 years ago?  It's happening now to
  28. the Internet on an unimaginable scale.  Sadly, I believe it's only going
  29. to get worse.  The Law of Large Numbers in action -- welcome to the
  30. "global village".
